[Character Design] 23: Sulfur Creature - Thumbnails 1 - 5

I need to try different angles to the cobra-like hood because it isn't very clear - if I decide to keep it. I also need to test out other versions of horns. I also need to incorporate sulfur's textures more.

[Character Design] 21: Game Board; 3D Block Out

To better design for a 3D board game, I found it far easier to physically block out the board itself in three dimensions rather than struggle with gaining a suitable design in 2D.

Descending, the board's platforms include:
Crust, Upper Mantle, Lower Mantle, Outer Core, Inner Core, Deep Core.

This design took inspiration from a cross-section of the Earth, the futuristic connotations of hexagons, the shape of a drill head and a cardboard cake stand. Within the middle is an elevator shaft which a small hexagonal platform navigates up and down between the sections of the Earth.

The white circular platform is not part of the board itself, nor do the colours represent actual colours of the game's design. The board game in its current form, stands at 70cm tall.

[Character Design] 10: 60,000 Ft Under; Cyborg Development 01

Using the Influence Map I had previously created, I have begun to develop the Cyborg main character. Thumbnail 13 is my preferred design; next, I will take him into the colouring stage.
