  1. Hi Danny,
So how do you see these cards working in relation to your board game? From my understanding, the other 2 examples above are purely card based?

    1. Hi Jackie, admittedly I was struggling think of layout that'd suit a board+card game combo :/

The idea was the typical land on a 'square', pick up the relevant card (then things get a bit complicated) if doing single player a creature card would require you to pick up another card for its Action - which just wont do.

Maybe I could do away with the Creature cards in their current form, and instead provide useful information about the creatures in a info booklet?

I could instead have Creature hex > relevant Area pack (e.g. Radiation Chamber) > Creature Move card (e.g. Torbernite Irradiation). The C.M. cards could provide Move info in relation to dice rolls and damage.

Unfortunately this would lose the health bar element which I'd like to keep, clearly I need to better research Board-Card game combos :)

  2. Also, think practically about having those tiny hearts velcroed onto the card! You are going to need a pair of fine tweezers to attach them... You would maybe be better with each player having a free-standing 'health bar' that would be a bit larger and more user friendly?
